About your character

Full name:
Age & birthdate:
House & year:
Wand: Length, wood, core, flexibility. If the core is anything other than unicorn hair, dragon heartstring or phoenix feather, then it did not come from Ollivander and you must explain how your character came by it. You may also describe its power level and if it's good for any type of magic in particular.
Sexual orientation: If bisexual or homosexual, also indicate whether your character is open or secretive about his sexuality.
Familiar: A cat, toad or owl. Students may attend school without a familiar.
Patronus:
Boggart:
Physical description: If you want to use an icon, tell us who you want to use and link us to some pictures in addition to your description. We should be able to picture your character clearly from what you write.
Dress style:
Manner of speech:
Hobbies/Interests:
Affiliation: Voldemort, Ministry, yourself? Anti-muggle, muggle-friendly, indifferent?
Occupation: If your character had a job over the summer.
Bloodline: If half-blood, specify if it is a parent or grandparent(s) who is non-magical. If pureblood, specify how many generations of purebloods are in the character’s direct line. When calculating this, keep in mind that wizards can naturally live well past 100 years.
Family: Give a brief description of your character's family members and tell us how your character interacts with each person.
Social status: Wealthy, middle-class, poor? Reputation?
Personality: Describe both positive and negative aspects of your character's behavior in detail. Any personality quirks or pet peeves should be mentioned here too. This should be your longest answer.
Strengths: Anything your character is especially good at. (Ex.: Does he have a knack for getting into trouble? Is she a natural at charms? Does he work well in stressful situations? Has she mastered a few handy Dark Arts spells? Is he a good liar? )
Weaknesses: Anything your character isn't such a whiz at. (Ex.: Is he an uncoordinated klutz? Does she never complete her schoolwork? Does he freeze when he's frightened? Is she a compulsive liar? Does he have a severe food allergy? Any phobias?)
History: Describe your character's background in detail. We want to know about his life at home, his childhood, his years at Hogwarts, and any major events in his life.
Future: If you have any plans for your character, this is where you tell us what you have in mind. Having no plans counts as a plan as long as it fits with your character description.
Misc.: Optional. Anything else that you feel we should know about your character that you couldn't find a place to mention in this form.
No hissy fits?:
Roleplay sample: Write an in-character roleplay sample of at least 250 words. You may write more – that's just the minimum. It may be about anything, but if you can't think of anything for your character to do, use one of our promts. If using a prompt, indicate which one you are using at the head of the sample. It doesn't need to be anything spectacular; just respond as your character would.

Once you're finished, e-mail us. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.
